ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Kissimmee police say the stolen car belonging to the elderly Hunters Creek woman was found on the 1900 block of Harbor Bay Avenue Friday morning.

Orange County sheriff's deputies say they are still trying to track down the man who allegedly carjacked 77-year-old Charlessey Smedley while she tried to get into her gated condominium complex.

A composite sketch of the suspect was released by authorities late Monday afternoon.

Deputies said Smedley was entering her gate code at the Capri Apartments on Fredricksburg Drive in the Hunters Creek neighborhood of Orange County around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning when a 45-50 year-old man approached her.

Authorities say the man forced Smedley out of her car and threw her onto the ground before stealing her car.

"I thought he was trying to help me," Smedley said.  "And it was about the third time he pulled me out."

"This was a senseless crime," said Jason Sams with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.  "It is of high importance for the sheriff's office and the robbery squad to arrest this guy in a speedy manner."

Smedley was taken to Florida Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

They say the suspect was not armed.  He is described as a black man who has a medium build, stands 6 feet tall and has salt and pepper hair.  Deputies are now looking for the victim's light blue Hyundai Accent.
