Posted: Updated:

State education leaders will discuss on Tuesday proposed changes to new Common Core Standards.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Education Commissioner Pam Stewart just released 98 proposed changes.

Those include 52 new calculus standards requiring students to master cursive handwriting and introducing the concept of money to students in first grade instead of second grade.

Two workshops take place on Tuesday in Tallahassee.

Another meeting is scheduled for next month in Orlando.
