Getting through the airport is going to be a lot faster for passengers at the Daytona Beach International Airport.
On Monday, the Transportation Security Administration kicked off its expedited passenger screening program at the airport.
TSA officials say the TSA Pre-Check program will help passengers not have to deal with the hassle of taking off shoes, belts, jackets and other clothing items to get through security.
They say passengers will also no longer have to open their bags containing liquids or remove their laptop from bags and purses.
All passengers will still have to go through metal detectors with the program.
Almost 100 airports nationwide are now participating in the new program including Orlando International Airport.
