ATLANTA -

At least four smash-and-grab attempts happened overnight in Fulton County and Atlanta Wednesday.

The burglaries included two BP gas stations, an eye clinic and a retail store.

One incident happened at a gas station near Fulton Industrial Boulevard at Interstate 20.

According to Atlanta Police, the clerk saw a truck backing up to take about a 15 feet run into the store. The clerk says the suspects rammed into the store a total of three times before they dislodged an ATM. The bandits walked around the store for a while before they left.

The store turned over their surveillance footage to the authorities.

Other places hit include a BP store on Chattahoochee Avenue, a Pearle Vision Center on Howell Mill and a Ferragamo store at Lenox Mall.

Authorities are currently investigating the incidents.
