Cute Ways to Layer When it's Cold

ATLANTA -

Celebrity fashion stylist Robanne Schulman of Plaid Monkey Personal Shopping, stopped by Good Atlanta on Friday to share some fashion tips on "How to Layer When it's Cold."

First, she says you want to "shop in your closet" – find out whether or not you want or need to add anything.

She suggests three transitional looks that could help you stay fashionably warm, this winter.

The Puffer Vest and an Upgraded Pullover: Pair these items with skinny jeans, a cute scarf and boots. Accessorize using your own personal style. You can always take it down a notch and throw on some workout leggings and statement sneakers.

The Poncho Cape: This piece is pretty easy to style around. Poncho capes can be paired with anything from a fitted dress and tights to paneled leggings. However, be sure to balance the volume on top. Accessorize with any type of "bling" or glitzy jewelry.

The Faux Fur Vest: The Faux Fur Vest pairs well with faux leather leggings and silk. The vest is the focal point of this look. And it's pretty effortless to style around it. Whether it's skinny jeans and an oxford or leggings and a thigh-high boot – it works.

For more information on how to transition you wardrobe visit Plaid Monkey online or Robanne Schulman on Facebook.
