Roderick Bridges, 32, was killed Nov. 2, 2013 by a hit-and-run driver.

"He really liked to tell a lot of jokes and I would laugh, and I would laugh so hard I used to cry," says Raleica. She is one of Roderick's seven children.

Roderick, one of his brothers and other relatives were at Jimmy's Lounge on Kercheval Street in Detroit celebrating a niece's birthday that day in Nov. Roderick was leaving when someone started shooting. Everyone started running and he was run over.

"You can't hit something that big and not know that you hit something, and they kept on going," Cynthia Bridges, Roderick's mother, says. She is now looking after three of Roderick's children.

Cynthia says the family has received information regarding the suspected driver. They say they passed the information along to Detroit police but the case investigation has not moved forward.

"They haven't done anything yet, that's my whole concern. They haven't done anything - yet," Cynthia tells Fox 2's Amy Lange.
