HOW TO GET THE LOOK: Modern Day Bridget Bardot Beach Waves

Key: It's about a creating a structure. Roots need to be strong and voluminous otherwise the entire look will fall.

  1. On damp hair, start with a volumizer targeting the roots and then apply a beach spray from mid shaft to ends.
  2. Rough dry hair with hands until it's 100 percent dry.
  3. Once hair is completely dry. Wrap the hair around a one-inch curling iron using slight tension to create loose waves. This process was repeated around the head in no particular order so it feels a bit deconstructed.
  4. Separate the curls using fingers so they have moment and texture.
  5. To make the wave a little more deconstructed in the front, Adir applies his signature technique of creating a finger wave effect with a curling iron. This technique creates frames the face with a soft wave rather than a curl
  6. To finish the look, back comb the crown to give it that sexy Bardot-style bump.
