New Castle Co. Police Release Surveillance Photos Of Robbery Suspects

Posted: Updated:
WILMINGTON, Del. -

New Castle County Police are currently investigating and have released surveillance of a robbery that occurred in the area of Lore Avenue and Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington, Delaware.

According to police, a victim was robbed late Friday, 1/17, evening at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Officers learned that the 18 year-old victim was walking on Lore Avenue when he was approached by three black male subjects. Investigators say that one of the subjects demanded items from the victim and then struck him with an unknown object. The suspects then fled the area in a light colored sedan along with the victim's belongings, authorities say. The victim was later transported to the hospital by a family member as a result of the injuries that he sustained from the robbery, say police.

Officers learned the victim's debit card was taken during the robbery and used at a convenient store.

Detectives recently obtained photographs of the suspects possibly involved in the crime and are asking if anyone with information as to the suspect's whereabouts to call Detective Garcia of the New Castle County Police Department at (302) 395-2815.
