Legendary singer songwriter Rodney Crowell has a busy weekend in front of him. Tomorrow night he'll be at the Troubadour for a tribute to the Everly Brothers. Then Sunday night it's the Grammy Awards. If he wins, it won't be the first time…it will just be the latest accolade in a career that's now in its 5th decade.

Rodney also has a new album coming out, called ‘Tarpaper Sky' hits stores in April.

1.) Rodney is a Grammy Award-winning American musician, known primarily for his work as a singer and songwriter in country music. Crowell has had five number one singles on Hot Country Songs, all from his 1988 album Diamonds & Dirt. He has also written songs and produced for other artists.

2.) He was influenced by songwriters Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt. Crowell played guitar and sang for three years in Emmylou Harris' "Hot Band".

Americana's pre Grammy salute and ‘Tribute To The Everly Brothers' is tomorrow night at the Troubador.

The Grammy nominated "Old Yellow Moon" with Rodney and Emmylou Harris is out now.

And Rodney's new album "Tarpaper Sky" hits stores April 15th.
