If you thought of suing the city, state or your local school district for this week's fiasco, think again.

Thanks to a doctrine called official immunity, government workers are protected from litigation unless those filing suit can prove malice.

Louis Levenson with the Levenson and Associates Law Firm spoke with our radio partner AllNews 106.7. He says even negligence is protected.
