4-Hour Arrival Delays Reported At Philly Airport Monday

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia International Airport has been experiencing four-hour arrival delays at times Monday.

Spokeswoman Victoria Lupica says that's due to the snow and the visibility not just in Philadelphia but at other airports.

"The airlines are working really hard," Lupica said. "They're proactively canceling flights so that passengers are being notified, they're not coming to the airport, and they're being either re-routed or rescheduled. We do have a little over 300 flights canceled so far today."

Lupica said it's really about making sure the passenger gets where they need to be safely and when they need to be there.

She advised customers, whether they're traveling to pick someone up or flying, to either check with their airline on the status of their flight or the airport's website http://www.phl.org, for up-to-date information.
