Doctor Has Close Call In Winter Weather

LOWER MERION, Pa. -

FOX 29's Steve Keeley was in Lower Merion when he stumbled on a doctor whose car was just hit by a falling tree. The doctor was okay, and with the help of some residents, he got out of his car safely.

Watch Steve's story above. And be careful in the snow. Make sure to remove your car from snow evacuation lanes, and try to park them away from trees if possible. Also, if a power line does fall on your car, make sure to stay away and report it immediately to your local electricity provider.

    Summer is not over just yet!  90 degree temperatures will take us into September.  Much of the week ahead is looking hot with temps in the 90's and upper 80's.

    There is a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday.

    Unsettled weather will continue through Labor Day with temperatures soaring in the 90's.  We aren't looking at a washout but there will be pop up showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening on Monday.
