Detroit luxury goods maker Shinola plans to install four clocks around the city in the coming weeks, officials confirm to FOX 2.

Spokesperson Carly Strachan says the initial city clock will be installed outside Cobo Center before daylight savings time begins on March 9.

The three other locations will be announced next month.

Strachan says the clocks will stand nearly 13 feet tall and 38 inches in diameter. The will be based on Shinola's pocket-watch design, which will be released later this year as the second watch in Shinola's Great Americans Series.
