Sam Harris: You Have To Find The Ridiculousness

Sam Harris: You Have To Find The Ridiculousness

Posted: Updated:

Sam Harris is probably best known for his amazing performance of "Over the Rainbow" on the first season of Star Search. Sam not only blew away the competition, he also became the show's first champion. A lot has happened since then and Harris writes all about it in his new book "Ham: Slices of a Life". In it, he talks about his career and personal life in a series of essays.

Steve and Lisa sat down with Sam Tuesday morning and heard some of those stories, including life after Star Search and the unusual things that played out at Liza Minnelli's wedding.

Sam is also bringing those stories to the stage in "Ham: Slices of a Life: The Literusical". It's debuting at the Renberg Theater in Hollywood March 22 and 23. The singer and author will also be signing copies of his book at the West Hollywood Library Wednesday night. For more information, go to SAMHARRIS.COM.
