There was an interesting story in the LA Times this week about Bill Gross. Gross is the Chief Investment Officer of Pimco Funds. The story talked about how the co-founder of the Newport Beach company earns $200 million dollars a year and one of his trustees thinks he's making too much money, which made some of our people in the newsroom wonder how much is too much?
FOX 11 photographer Glen Loughboro and I headed over to the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. It seemed the perfect spot to find lots of people making all kinds of salaries. It was. We met people who felt $200-million a year is "ridiculous." That even $100 million a year is too much. There were others, though, that sided with Gross. The only thing missing from this story is the singing group Bare Naked Ladies belting out "If I had a million dollars..."
