Victims ID'ed in Dalton deadly nightclub shooting

DALTON, Ga. -

Dalton Police have released the name of two victims in a deadly Sunday morning shooting on East Morris Street.

28-year-old Bruno Rodriguez was pronounced dead of the scene and Daniel Flores was treated and released on Sunday morning from Hamilton Medical Center.

The incident happened outside a night club in northwest Georgia early Sunday morning.

The Dalton Police Department tells FOX 5 News that they have arrested 20-year-old Juvencio Vega Garcia and 21-year-old Fernando Resendiz was arrested Sunday afternoon. They will both be charged in connection to the deadly shooting outside the Las Delicias Bar on East Morris Street in Dalton just before 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police say they are still seeking the person they believe to be the gunman. They have obtained a warrant for 20-year-old Orlando Ramirez on one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

Police say they arrived at the club to find two people shot. One victim died at the scene. The surviving victim was transported to Hamilton Medical Center in an unknown condition.

Ramirez is described by police as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on this case or who may know the whereabouts of Ramirez is asked to call 911 or Detective Chris Tucker with the Dalton Police Department at 706-278-9085, ext. 165.
