The Catch: Game Day Foods

Posted: Updated:

The Catch in Anaheim helps us kick off OPENING DAY!! The Catch restaurant is footsteps from the Stadium, right across from The Grove and blocks from Honda Center.

*GAME DAY MENU*

·        Yellowfin tuna tartare

·        Shrimp Veracruz chopped salad

·        Snack Bomb Nachos (big cast iron skillet meant for sharing)

·        Brewmaster's pretzels

·        Trio of Dips

·        House smoked baby back ribs

·        Roasted Poblano chicken tenders

·        Mahi tacos by the rack (great presentation)

·        OMG Burger (this has been covered nationally and internationally)

*COCKTAILS*

·        Royal Tea

·        World's Greatest Bloody Mary (served with beer back)

·        Triple Play Punch

The GDLA team helped us "build" the OMG burger.  Although we have done a ton of burger demos, this is unique due to the size.  We start with a 14 inch bun which we will have one of the GDLA team slather with mayo aioli.  Other parts of the job will be layering it with 16 tomato slices, shaved onion, pickles and more and once assembled, crowning it with a mini slider (photo sent earlier). This item is a signature, meant for sharing.

Sutter Zachman had his first record deal when he was barely out of his teens. You may have seen the Orange County native was on stage at the Largo and other hot clubs around LA. He then left town...after what he called a few "bouts" with the music business, but now he is back with a new EP called ‘Repeat Offender.'
