    Creepy clown frightening Staten Islanders

A clown was scaring the daylight out of people on Staten Island. The creepy looking clown popped up at random, public places including train stops in Grasmere and Richmond Valley. The mysterious clown had been spotted waving and holding balloons and wearing a trademark red nose, sometimes in the middle of the night. In one photo, the clown was lurking behind a tree.

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Bad teeth, menacing eyes, a wicked smile: hello evil clown. The clown that terrorized Staten Island was on the Elvis Duran Show on Z-100 Friday morning.

Juliet Huddy met the guys who created the bloodcurdling bozo to promote Fuzz on the Lens Productions. The clown doesn't speak, just stands with balloons and a spine-chilling smile plastered on its face.

The master of horror himself, Stephen King, tweeted the guys: "Pennywise spotted on Staten Island. Do I get royalties?"

Their answer: "We hope not."

Six people were indicted Wednesday in an international ring that managed to take over more than 1,000 StubHub users' accounts and fraudulently buy tickets to such prime events as Jay-Z and Elton John concerts, a New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game and Broadway shows like "The Book of Mormon," the Manhattan district attorney said. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. said the thieves would then resell the tickets and split up the proceeds.
