CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Dr. Carol joined us on Good Day Chicago Tuesday to teach us how to make a delicious glaze for your Easter ham!

Chef Carol's Rhubarb ham glaze

3-1/2 cups Fresh Rhubarb, diced

1-1/4 cups sugar

1/3 cup Orange juice

¾ tsp Dry mustard

2tsp Ginger grated fresh or paste

1 ea Cinnamon Stick

2tsp Orange Peel, grated

Directions:

Combine Rhubarb, sugar, orange juice, ginger, orange peel, cinnamon stick and dry mustard in a saucepan, cook till boiling

Reduce heat to medium and cook till rhubarb starts to break up keep cooking for 15 minutes uncovered, stir occasionally. Should be a nice red color. Remove cinnamon stick and brush glaze on ham

Cook ham at about 15 minutes longer after glaze is on.
