ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. (WJBK) -- A southwest Michigan woman faces numerous felony charges after she led police on a high speed chase with her daughter in the front seat.

Police say 34-year-old Aubrey Coy of Kosciusko County kidnapped the 5-year-old girl on Sunday during a supervised visit and then fled when police tried to pull her over.

At one point during the nearly 6-mile chase, which was captured on dash cam video, she puts the girl on her lap in the driver's seat. Coy reached speeds of 75 mph before stop sticks were used to blow out her vehicle's front tires.

But even after that, Coy refused to let go of her daughter.

“I have no idea how I got here," Coy said during her arraignment on Monday, reports WSBT.

Police also found cocaine in her vehicle, according to WSBT. Cody now faces seven felony charges and one misdemeanor, including child abuse, resisting arrest, possession of cocaine, obstruction of justice, fleeing and eluding police and operating under the influence of drugs
