MONROE TWP., N.J. -

A parachute jump went terribly wrong Sunday in South Jersey. A skydiver died after what police describe as a problem with his wingsuit.

Investigators say a 49-year old man from Brooklyn, N.Y., was wearing a specialized suit to help him move forward through the sky.

The jump took place around 2 p.m. Sunday at Freefall Adventures in Monroe Township.

The man landed in somebody's yard about a half-mile away from the "drop zone."

The shaken homeowner says jumpers miss the mark all the time.

The skydiver was described as experienced, having completed 350 jumps, and was a frequent visitor to Freefall Adventures.
