Santa Monica, CA - (FOX 11 / CNS) Motorists will likely be in for some headaches in the Santa Monica area this week, as a stretch of Lincoln Boulevard will close
early tomorrow morning to make way for the installation of train tracks for the Metro Expo Line.

Lincoln will be closed at Colorado Avenue beginning at 3 a.m. Monday and continuing until 6 a.m. April 28, according to the Exposition Construction Authority.

Northbound traffic on Lincoln will be detoured east on Olympic Boulevard, with motorists advised to take northbound 11th Street, then
westbound Santa Monica Boulevard to get back to Lincoln. Southbound traffic will be diverted east on Santa Monica Boulevard, with motorists advised to continue south on 14th Street to Pico Boulevard.

Colorado Avenue will be closed to traffic between Seventh and Ninth streets.
