Parent arrested for speaking too long at school board meeting

Posted: Updated:
A parent in New Hampshire was arrested at a school board meeting for violating the time limit set on discussions.

William Baer was charged with disorderly conduct when police said he did not leave a school board meeting after being asked, according to the YouTube description provided by WMUR-TV.

Parents were apparently upset one of the reading materials assigned to their high school-aged children was inappropriate. School officials say the book 'Nineteen Minutes' by Jodi Piccoult contains important themes about a school shooting. However, the book also contains a graphic description of a sexual encounter between two teens, which parents say they were unaware of until the book was already handed out to students.
