Lawrence Township Man Under Arrest In Child Sex Assault Case

Posted: Updated:
FALLS TWP., Pa. -

Neighbors in a Lawrence Township neighborhood are disturbed by news that a man allegedly solicited children for sex.

After a month’s long investigation, Falls Township Police teamed up with their counterparts in Lawrence to arrest 27-year old Adam Carnevale on 6 felony counts including attempting to have unlawful contact with a minor and attempted assault.

The case crosses state lines; Carnavale was picked up in Jersey and is awaiting extradition to PA.

Police say Carnevale paid girls as young as 14 in both states for sex and naked photos. He allegedly found those girls on Facebook.

“He uses social media like Facebook to contact victims to solicit victims to maintain contact with them,” said Lt. Nelson Whitney Il of Falls Township Police.

Back in Carnavale's New Jersey community, neighbors say their thoughts are with the alleged victims.

Police are asking anyone with information on Carnevale's alleged victims to come forward if you know anything call Falls Township Detectives 215-949-9100.
