BBQ with Buck: DBA Barbecue

BBQ with Buck: DBA Barbecue

Posted: Updated:

Everyone has a favorite BBQ restaurant, am I right people?

With summer right around the corner, it seems like the perfect time to make the transition from 'Breakfast With Buck' to 'BBQ With Buck'.

Each week we are going to take a look at different BBQ restaurants in the metro area and beyond, to find out what makes them special, unique, and oh so tasty.

There are many different regional styles of BBQ, for example, Carolina style, Memphis style, Texas style, etc. So the obvious question is...does Atlanta have a BBQ style? We go to DBA BBQ in Virginia Highland to try to answer that question, and the answer may surprise you. While we were there, owner Matt Coggin put me through a one-on-one version of the DBA Sauce making Class, and Buck's Tangy Late Heat BBQ Sauce was born (I'm still working on the name). If you want to "Get Saucy" at DBA BBQ, register online for the an upcoming sauce making class.

If you have a favorite BBQ restaurant that you would like to recommend for 'BBQ With Buck', hit me up on Facebook or on Twitter and tell me all about it.

Ten time Ironman, Dave Nazaroff recently rode 900 miles on his bicycle...from Nyack, New York...to Georgia. He didn't do it to get in shape, or to win a competition; he did it to raise money for a 11 year old Callie Truelove in Gainesville, Georgia.
