London-England- Some rabbits hopped into the spotlight for a big competition.

Adorable bunnies from Sweden are taking part in a rabbit show-jumping contest in London this weekend.

The furballs will go head-to-head in the new spectator sport, which includes jumping over hurdles.

The quartet are known as the 'Bouncing Bunnies of Sweden.'

"Bunnies are cute animals, and you want to do something with them and they are happy and like to jump over stuff, so it is just the natural way for them to do. So then we started a sport with it,” said rabbit owner Karin Molin.

The rabbit jumping has been a sport in Sweden for about 20 years and it is growing in popularity.

The current world record for a jump by a rabbit stands at 99-point five centimeters.
