The Coast Guard pulled four men from the water Sunday after their boat capsized 20 miles west of Anna Maria Island.
According to the Coast Guard, one of the four men radioed in a distress call, reporting that the 28-foot boat was taking on water -- but then dropped out of communication.
The Coast Guard scrambled a boat from Cortez and a helicopter from Clearwater. When the rescue boat arrived, the crew found the four men -- all wearing life vests -- clinging to their overturned hull.
All four men were safely recovered from the water and taken back to shore with no injuries.
The Coast Guard did not say what had caused the boat to capsize.
