A Forest Park man desperately searched and then found a woman who he says saved his life after he dove into Lake Allatoona and hit his head.
Andrew Evans says as he jumped off a 21-foot boulder, lost his footing and wound up hitting a rock in the water.
Evans tells FOX 5 he remembers waking up on the shore and a woman talking to him.
“I remember this lady from Michigan saying she was a nurse and applied pressure to the wounds and supported my neck and head until the paramedics got there,” said Evans.
The two were able to make contact with each other after the story aired. Her name is Lisa Clagg and she says she's also wondered about Evans and prayed for him.
