Hillary Rodham Clinton Signs Book, Receives Award

Posted: Updated:
A big day for the former First Lady, the former New York Senator and former U.S. Secretary Of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton. She receives the William O. Douglas Award during a dinner presentation in Century City. The award is presented by Public Counsel, which bills itself as the nation's largest not-for-profit law firm providing legal services on behalf of people in need.

Past recipients of this award include Mrs. Clinton' husband, President Bill Clinton, and another former U.S. Secretary Of State, Madeleine Albright.

Earlier Thursday, Mrs. Clinton signed copies of her book, "Hard Choices", at a bookstore in The Grove. Mrs. Clinton spent a couple of hours meeting her supporters and signing her book, which details the four years Mrs. Clinton served in the Obama Administration as America's top diplomat.
