A teenager has died following a crash on Interstate 95. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said the 13-year-old boy was a passenger in one of three cars involved in the fatal incident which happened near mile marker 210 in Brevard County on Friday morning.
According to the FHP, a Titusville woman was traveling southbound in a Chevy Impala when her car drifted into another lane, striking a Toyota SUV. The SUV was knocked off the road and came to a stop on the right shoulder, where a Ford pickup truck was parked and unoccupied. The Impala then struck the back of the pickup, killing the teen.
Seatbelts were worn by all parties involved. The drivers of both the Impala and the SUV were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries.
