ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Evan Fournier is still young in his NBA career, and he's hoping to find a home with the Orlando Magic.
Fournier, who was dealt to the Magic in a draft night draft deal that sent Arron Afflalo back to Denver, was formally introduced on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-7 point guard will have an opportunity to contribute on a young roster that is now without veteran point guard Jameer Nelson, who was waived Monday.
Fournier appeared in 76 games averaged 8.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in his second season as a Nugget last season. He had a better shooting year his rookie season, connecting on 54 percent inside the arc and 41 percent from three-point range.
