GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

Gwinnett County police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Friday morning at an apartment complex on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

The shooting happened at about 7 a.m. at the Paces Crossing Apartments in the Norcross area, according to investigators.

Officers tell FOX 5 News that 35-year-old William Damron, of Tennessee, was found dead at the entrance to the apartment complex.

Police say it appears Damron was shot during an argument involving another man and a woman.

According to the Gwinnett Police Department, preliminary information reveals there was some sort of dispute between two males and a female and at some point a firearm was introduced and shots were fired.

The incident was related to a domestic dispute between an estranged husband, wife and third party.

Police are questioning the man and woman involved in that domestic dispute.

Detectives say everyone involved in the shooting was found at the scene.

FOX 5 will provide more information as it becomes available.
