There will be similar conditions to Thursday on tap for the rest of your July 4th holiday. That means plenty of sunshine, heat and humidity early on with showers and thunderstorms firing up in the afternoon and early evening.
A trough over the northern Peninsula is already spawning a good bit of activity in the Gulf and showers and storms will work their way in from southwest to northeast. Our coverage is in the 50 to 60 percent range with some isolated storms becoming strong to severe.
The highs will climb into the mid 90's. It's looking like for the most part, storms will come to end this evening so conditions look to be good for the fireworks.
Lows tonight will drop into the mid to upper 70's.
