ROSWELL, Ga. -  Police say they have arrested five people on Thursday after a 4-month investigation into illegal drug sales targeting area high school students.

The Roswell Police Department arrested 47-year-old Patrick Jankowski and his son, 19-year-old Angelo Jankowski, both of Marietta. They say the pair was working with 20-year-old Riley Bloomer and 19-year-old Amanda Kurkjian, both of Roswell, to sell marijuana and illegal narcotics to teens who attended Roswell High School from a home just a mile away from the school located in the 12000 block of King Road.

Police seized several pounds of marijuana and pills during a search warrant of that home as well as two other locations. They also found 11 guns including 5 shotguns as well as about $29,000 in cash.

All four were booked into the Fulton County Jail on multiple drug charges.

Police say they wanted to close the operation by the time school started on Monday.

Leon Kurkjian, 62, of Roswell, was also arrested during the operation on unrelated warrants out of Gwinnett County.
